  1. First thank you for this great tool (Mostly I like the snoozing)

    I have a suggestion/request.

Please add the ability to set some more defaults to the compose new alarm window.

    1. a "new alarms default volume level". As of 3.1 there's no "fixed default" and the default "changes" (it depends on the system's current volume).
I think most of the useres set their alarms (with sound) set to a certain "normal" level (depending on their system and speakers). Letting every user determine his own default "normal level" will make creating new alarms much faster (no need to change the volume).

2+3. Most of my alarms I set without sound. So it would be nice if I could set my default sound to None and to set the default "turn on the volume" checkbox to be unticked.

    TIA.

  2. This is the greatest alarm clock I have seen and used. I always depend on it while I am working on my computer. It's a great program. Thank you!

  3. there are some bugs:
    - Wake up computer from a sleep mode fails tot work (as you know for this feature to work, it also is required for wake-up timers to be enabled in the power options)
    - the program is not Unicode program, so when the lanuage for displaying formats is changed (in Region and Languages control panel app., Formats tab) the day of week and AM/PM symbols are displayed as gibberish characters.

    1. * correction: when the language for displaying Formats is changed to a non-latin languages (for example, Chinese, Russian, Arabic)

  10. I've been using for about a year, and I love it! I keep using it for more and more reminders, since I'm at my computer pretty much all day.

I live in an area that has lawn watering restrictions in the summer, and it's great for reminding me to turn off the hose. It reminds me when I need to make phone calls, when I need to go to appointments. Plus a half dozen other things.

My one wish is that I could schedule it to remind me about something that's more than a week away.

  11. Good tool, easy to use. Suggestion: Alarm triggers when set time = real time, it should be equal-to or greater-than real time. Even if I turn my computer on a little late, the activity still has to be done and I still need to be reminded – and told by how much time I’m late.

  12. Great program. One suggestion is to add a feature where the options are to trigger an alarm in a set # of minutes. ie: 5..10..15...20..25..30..45...60 ...90 mins. Would be very helpful for cooking reminders and so we don't have to figure how much time to add to the current time. Thank you !

  16. I wish an alarm would not steal the focus of the computer. When I'm in the middle of typing in a document, and an alarm pops up while I am typing, and I hit the Enter key while I am typing, the alarm goes away before I've even seen the alarm! An alarm should pop up without stealing the focus of the computer.

  17. You can set one-time alarms or repeating alarms. I don't see the icon for one time alarm?

  19. This is a great program, and I use it every day (to remind me of my children's piano lessons, time to take my medications, and other events).
It would be great if there were an option so that when an alarm goes off, it does NOT take the focus of the computer away from another program. Often, I am typing in my word processor and an alarm goes off. While typing, I hit the RETURN key; and, instead of a return being entered in my word processor, I realize I have selected SNOOZE on the alarm! I, often, don't even realize it until after the alarm has disappeared from my screen. Then, I have to re-select where I was in my word processing program. It is annoying!

  21. I just installed Windows 10. Free Alarm Clock does not appear to be working properly now. Anything I can do? I have loved this program for taking my cancer meds and don't know what I'll do without it.

  23. Great application when I run it as a local administrator on a Windows 7 64-bit workstation. When I try it as a normal user, as soon as the alarm triggers, a window appears for a second then closes.

    I've tried with v3.1 and v3.1.3.

    Please help!!

    2. Yes, both are idendical. I've even changed the security permissions for the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeAlarmClock so the user has read/write access.
